Hugo Aguilar Ortiz será el nuevo presidente de la Suprema Corte de Justicia de la Nación (SCJN), tras la jornada de votación que definió al próximo líder del máximo órgano judicial de México.
Con este nombramiento, se convierte en la figura central del Poder Judicial Federal y en quien recaerá la conducción de los asuntos más relevantes de la justicia constitucional del país.
Aguilar Ortiz consiguió seis millones 195 mil 612 votos, que representa un porcentaje de 5.30 del total, superando a la segunda persona candidata con más votos: Lenia Batres, que consiguió 4.9 por ciento de los sufragios.
