Cogan aplaz\u00f3 nuevamente la audiencia de sentencia de Genaro Garc\u00eda Luna, ex secretario de Seguridad P\u00fablica de M\u00e9xico, que estaba fijada para el 27 de septiembre, y concedi\u00f3 la petici\u00f3n de su defensa para aplazarlo hasta el 1 de marzo de 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cLuego de haber le\u00eddo la moci\u00f3n 247 de la defensa, la Corte determina que ha demostrado una buena causa para la extensi\u00f3n requerida\u201d, dictamin\u00f3 Cogan en una sucinta <a><\/a>declaraci\u00f3n escrita de la Corte Federal en Brooklyn, Nueva York.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bajo el nuevo calendario, las mociones previas al juicio deber\u00e1n entregarse antes del pr\u00f3ximo 12 de diciembre; la respuesta de los fiscales federales para el 19 de enero de 2024; la contrarr\u00e9plica de la defensa el 2 de febrero de 2024 y la sentencia final para el primero de marzo de 2024 a las 10:00 en la recinto 8D Sur de la Corte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Garc\u00eda Luna fue declarado culpable en febrero por un jurado federal en Brooklyn de los cinco cargos de una acusaci\u00f3n formal que lo acus\u00f3 de participar en una empresa delictiva continua que incluye seis infracciones relacionadas con drogas, conspiraci\u00f3n para la distribuci\u00f3n internacional de coca\u00edna, conspiraci\u00f3n para distribuir y poseer con la intenci\u00f3n de distribuir coca\u00edna, conspiraci\u00f3n para importar coca\u00edna y hacer declaraciones falsas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Con informaci\u00f3n de Milenio<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El juez Brian M.
